Our hair salon is open for services. Skin test allergy alert: If you have coloured your own hair at home using a box dye you will need an Aveda skin test 48 hours before your appointment.

How to enjoy your visit to our hair salon:

• BEFORE YOU ARRIVE:
• Do not come if you are feeling unwell, please rebook when you are fully recovered; to protect our stylists’ income we are requesting 30% cancellation fee outwith 24 hours notice
• Face coverings are optional for Guests & Stylists during all hair and beauty services, please bring your own, we do have surgical masks available at cost of £1. We will not be able to prevent hair colour staining your mask. Please advise us in advance/on arrival if you prefer us to wear a mask
• Download ApplePay/android pay if possible for contactless payment via your phone – no minimum limit; contactless card maximum is £100
• Please come alone when possible
• Bring limited belongings – wallet, phone, book. We can store coats in our cloakroom or in a box which you can keep with you
• We are serving drinks; you may wish to bring a reusable bottle of water and take it away with you (to help save the planet), please take away any food wrappers and disposable coffee cups
• DURING YOUR VISIT:
• Wash/sanitise on arrival using our no-touch automated Proverb Sanitiser (in stock for retail – plant powered 70% alcohol)
• Observe 2 metre distancing until your service wearing your face covering
• Collect your own gown from the open cloakroom and gown yourself
• Please remain in your chair unless directed to our colour bar or beauty room while your colour develops
• Please leave the WC light on, wash and sanitise your hands
• Relax and have a lovely therapeutic hair service
• Ungown yourself and leave the gown in the cloakroom black laundry bin
• When you purchase our products directly from JFJ you support our small business (rather than online)

Precautions:  Individual gowns for cutting, cleaning between each guests:  Washing gowns, barbicide hospital grade sterilising of all hair equipment and furniture, Proverb 70% sanitiser on hands, card machine, door handles, surfaces.
